Best BBQ and service! All the food was perfectly cooked, great quality and quantity. The taste was awesome, the best BBQ I have had in Calgary. The drinks are fun and tasty. They don't smother their ribs or brisket in BBQ sauce, the dry rubs are so delicious!! Great service and atmosphere. We normally have been in big groups and they are very accommodating!
The food here is always 5 star. The service is just the way it needs to be. Its a smoke house whiskey bar food hall style joint. If you come here for smiles and a chat from the ladys well no where is the place for you. This is one of the best atmospheres for good friends, good drinks, and amazing food. You want a drink? Ask, more food? Ask. Its a busy place and for good reason, Im surprised this place even has breakfast considering its a smoke house. But weekends only people, if your hungover on a weekday you messed up anyways. Anyplace where you see the owner working, cleaning, setting up and helping his staff deserves a 5 star in my opinion. Great job everyone.
I unfortunately have no pictures to show off, perhaps I will bring my camera next time to get some good quality shots. The atmosphere is loud, due to popularity. This place is often jam packed and bustling and for good reason.Best brisket I have had here in Calgary since eating brisket in Texas, eating Texas brisket tends to make you a bit picky, but you will have no qualms about this place. The stars of the show were of course the brisket, the corn bread, and the short ribs; in my own opinion. Although all of their dishes were exceptional in flavor and portion aside from the coleslaw, however I believe that is to personal preference; I'm not a huge vinegar fan. Despite the loud ambiance, you definitely cannot go wrong eating here. If only my stomach and my wallet were large enough for multiple visits a week, I surely would.
SALT , SALT and more SALT. Went there for half priced wings (Wed night), and I have never tasted any wings this salty in my life. This is coming from someone who loves the extra salt with everything from popcorn, steak etc... and if I thought it was salty, then it was salty. Perhaps it may be great for those who enjoy washing their salt down with beer or alcohol. However, I was quite disappointed, and wished it was good so I could grab it as a late night snack whenever I wanted one.
By far the best barbecue House Restaurant in town. They have good varieties of meat such as pulled pork, brisket, turkey breast, pork ribs, beef ribs, half chicken, and Etc. So far my favorite is the brisket it is so succulent and moist and the fat is so favorable you can taste the smoke flavor from the fat. You can tell for sure this meat been smoked for 14 hours or more. Very delicious. The chicken was very awesome to you can tell it is locally source. Super moist I have to say one of the best chicken I ever had on the barbecue. Definitely a must-try place here in Cowtown. They have good deals after 10 p.m. half price on all meats. You should definitely should try this place out it is a Hidden Gem in town. It tend to get very busy here late at night so do be prepared to wait for your table. The Waiting was around 20 minutes or so on the weekend. Our waitresses were super awesome very friendly and greet full even she had a full days of work she was very polite and professional I was very happy with our service very awesome place to go to.
