Always a great experience here. I've have spa services (massages, pedi), and hair styling and make-up applications. Service is fantastic!
First and foremost Maykel is a hair god! I've been to many stylists in Calgary and he has been the only person to shape my hair perfectly without thinning it out, his scalp massage is the BEST and he is just such a genuinely kind person. I must also say that as a company swizzle sticks really does take care of their customers. They do everything in their power to ensure customers are happy. Of course there are limitations as with any small business but they really do care about our happiness!!
UPDATE** The manager Molly called me and offered me a heartfelt official apology. After discussing the issue, and understanding that it was a miscommunication on both ends, we resolved the matter to our mutual satisfaction. Molly was very kind in offering me a complimentary facial and a discounted pedicure for my husband. Thank you Molly and Swizzlesticks for caring about their customers! Worst customer service Ive ever had. Husband booked a three hour spa treatment at 3pm for me and specifically told them it was a surprise present for my birthday and to call him to confirm (not me). Two days before my birthday they called me to confirm my appointment and ruined the surprise. We confirmed the appointment time, 3pm, and let it go. The day of the appointment they called me at 11:15am asking if I was coming in for my appointment at 11am. I was confused and told her we booked and confirmed for 3pm. Receptionist adamantly disagreed with me, told me they had other appointments at 3pm, didnt have my husbands number on file, and no notes about anything he had specifically asked for. I told them to call my husband and gave the number (again). He asked for his money back and the receptionist had the audacity to say no harm done. Yes, yes actually there was harm done but thanks again for not apologizing, not offering any solutions, and not taking any ownership of the situation. Will never recommend or go there.
Very impressed with my experience here! Bianca did a great job with my hair and was super friendly and personable. She recommended products that she thought I might like but never made me feel pressured to buy anything. All the staff here are amazing and go above and beyond to make you feel valued as a customer! I will definitely be coming back!
Swizzlesticks Salonspa never disappoints! I loved it so much, I even recommended it to my family and treated my mom to a visit. She couldn't be happier with the colour and haircut. Thank you Swizzlesticks, we hope to return in the future for more pampering!
